One of the best fish and chips places we have been to. The fish (Haddock) was fresh, battered was thin and crispy. Scampi was equally great. Very generous portions. Great price. They also do a Lite bite Cod and chips portion for £5.95! Really great value. Chips were crispy and not like some chippy who used the oil for too long or soggy chips. Mushy peas was really good too… creamy and not too salty. Service was good and polite. This is the chippy that partnered with Fortnam in the summer and known as Fortnam-on-sea. So there is certain standard. They also sell Fortnam labeled water. Then we sat by the sea on outdoor tables. Really great experience! Highly recommended. 👍

I take my fish and chips seriously and I will say this is the best quality and value fish and chips I’ve had in a long time - delicious and so reasonably priced! Just enough portion wise that we all finished it but weren’t uncomfortably full. There aren’t many places where you can still get a decent portion of fish and chips for only £6.95! The way it should be enjoyed :)

The queue length alone tells you that Peter's is great fish and chips! Had just chips today, lovely hot and fresh. Have previously had fish/sausage and also very nice. Good selection of cold drinks in the fridge inside. We sat on the outside seating, but served in boxes so easy enough to eat on the beach or elsewhere. Reasonable prices, particularly for location. 100% recommend and worth the wait

WARNING! There’s a Que every time, so be nice and early to get your order, we had 7 people order, the minimum wait was around 15-25 mins at least, it cost around £70-75 including drinks and sachets of sauce and curry dip. Lovely spot to have lunch with family, we picked out the best day to have Peter’s Fish Factory , highly recommended !!
